Did you hear what I just heard? Craig said 'Everybody knows'!! Wow! What a sentence! :) :) :) Then, I said something in English...I thought he wouldnt get it and SURPRISE!!! He paraphrased in Spanish what I had said...Absolutely amazing! My dream of my son being bilingual is coming true! :)
I know kids at Craig age learn a language real fast...but one thing is to say it, to readt it and a complete different is to be able to experience it :) I'm so happy because even though he has been learning a lot of words lately...It is the first time I hear a sentence made up with words he has never used before. His first words/sentences in English while in the states since Nov 2011 to Jan 2012 have been: Yummy and that's good! Then, he started to learn words from a bilingual book that Tony got for him: Butterfly, frog, fish, watering can, ice cream, book, computer, table...and he is learning the animals, colors, commands...It feels so good to be able to witness this wonderful learning path of my little one! He is growing up and I love to see how he thinks and puts concepts together. It amazes me, it makes me proud, it makes me feel the happiest, luckiest mom in the world:)
